Clariva provides the service at https://clariva.co. Its address is Trade Centre Rd, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
These terms describe the service and the conditions for its use.
Clariva helps UAE residents managing their own personal debt turn fragmented debt statements, budgets, arrears and communication evidence into a clear, confidence-bounded diagnosis, realistic self-advocacy options and bank-ready documents. Users can upload or email documents and review what Clariva prepares.
Clariva is a self-help organisation and drafting tool. It does not provide legal, financial or debt-counselling advice, does not negotiate with or contact banks or creditors on the user's behalf, and does not make findings about the legality of any creditor's conduct. AI suggestions, such as a recommended request type or case stage, are starting points the user reviews. The user decides whether to use, change or send any document, and Clariva signposts regulated or professional help where appropriate.
Users must be adults with legal capacity who live in the United Arab Emirates and use Clariva for their own personal debts. Clariva is not directed to children. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal data should contact privacy@clariva.co.
Clariva uses Clerk for sign-in and session management and checks requests against the signed-in user. Users must keep their sign-in and personal inbound address private.
Clariva has limited permission to store and process users’ documents, financial information and communications only as needed to produce the diagnosis, options and documents they request. Service providers may process data outside the United Arab Emirates. Where a safeguard is required, Clariva relies on the provider’s contractual data-protection commitments or another lawful transfer mechanism.
Clariva uses encryption in transit and other security measures, but no system is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users must provide accurate information, upload only documents they are entitled to share, and review every document before using it. Users remain responsible for what they send to banks, creditors or authorities.
Users must not upload other people’s documents without authority, submit false or misleading information, harass creditors or others, try to access other users’ data or bypass security, or misuse or reverse engineer the service except where the law permits.
Clariva does not process payments.
Users retain ownership of their uploaded data and content.
The service processes uploaded data only under the following limited permission: A limited permission to store and process the user's documents, financial information and communications only as needed to produce the diagnosis, options and documents the user requests.
Personal data is not sold, used for targeted advertising, or shared for unrelated purposes.
Clariva and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, templates, workflows, designs, trademarks, and related technology.
Public MCP / Plugin use is not enabled.
Users may stop using Clariva at any time and request deletion. Clariva may suspend or close access for a breach of these terms, a security risk or a legal requirement, with notice where practicable.
Account, profile, debt, budget, communication and generated document data are retained for the life of the account and afterwards only as needed to complete a deletion request, comply with law or resolve disputes. Uploaded documents and extracted data are retained until the user deletes the document. Deleting a document also deletes its extraction results, linked loan and payment records and stored file.
Users can delete individual documents in the app. To request deletion of an account and all remaining data, email privacy@clariva.co from the account’s email address with the subject “Privacy Request (Clariva)”. Clariva responds without undue delay and within 30 days, or sooner where applicable law requires.
Deletion is subject to exceptions for records required to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims; information needed to prevent fraud, abuse or security incidents; and residual copies in managed backups and provider logs until they rotate out under the provider’s normal cycle.
Clariva is provided as is and as available. Extractions, analyses and AI-drafted documents can contain mistakes. Clariva does not guarantee any outcome with a bank or creditor.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clariva is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, except where mandatory law does not allow this limit.
The laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Dubai govern these terms, subject to mandatory consumer and data-protection laws that apply to the user.
